Shipping and Warehousing Clerk – Full Time (Hawthorne, CA)
Role:
- Process website orders and update software systems
- Pack and ship items and boxes including heavy and oversized items
- Communicate with customers and shipping companies to ensure seamless on-time delivery
- Generate shipping documents including labels, BOLs, invoices and packing lists
- Proactively update customers with information for their orders and answer questions
- Update internal systems with correct order and inventory data
- Occasional driving including pick up or drop off from customers and vendors
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and desire to provide excellent customer service
- Experience with shipping and warehousing generally
- Experience dealing with freight and parcel shipments
- Strong computer skills including MS office, Excel, and website familiarity
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Comfort driving a full size van
- Valid CA Driver’s license with clean record
