1. Using a professional vehicle hoist, or a floor jack, lift your vehicle using the factory jack points until one wheel is above the ground. Be sure to use a jack stands for safety as needed.
Note: if your vehicle uses factory air suspension, be sure to place the vehicle in jack mode to ensure the factory air system is not exposed to air pressure variables from lifting the vehicle.
3. Next, place the spacer over the wheel studs. Note there are 2 different PDC patterns. Model 3 and Y use a 5×114.3 bolt pattern while the Model S and X use a 5×120 bolt pattern. Note that one side of the spacer has a backspacing ring. This should face toward the hub, and the text should face away from the hub.
4. Place the spacer over the factory studs.

5. If you run into a clearance issue at the hub center, consider removing the corrosive buildup around the hub center to allow for proper clearance. Either scotchbrite or fine grit sand paper should work.

6. Be sure that there are no obstacles impeeding flush fitment.

7. If you find there is a retainer bolt present on the brake caliper, be sure to remove it using a 10mm socket and ratcheting wrench.
8. Once the 5mm spacer has been installed and is sitting flush against the hub face, proceed to install the wheel back onto the wheel studs. Then torque your lug nuts to factory spec (130 ft/lbs) to complete your spacer install.
Congratulations! You have completed your spacer install!
