First, open each of the rear 6 factory anchor point covers to access the factory mounting points by pressing the inner side of the factory cover to access the M6 studs. There are 8 factory anchor point cover locations in total as shown below. You will access anchor points 2, 3, and 4.
Using a 10mm socket, remove the factory nuts from factory anchor point 2. There are a total of 4 nuts that need to be removed from the vehicle.
Identify each support bracket’s intended mounting location. Each bracket is location-specific.
Place each bracket over the corresponding factory anchor point with the fixed threads facing away from the vehicle as shown below. You’ll find that the width of each bracket increases from the rear bracket to the uppermost bracket. The photo above shows the rear bracket on the left, mid bracket in the center, and uppermost bracket on the right.
Using a 10mm socket, fasten 1 provided M6 lock nut and 1 provided M6 washer to each factory anchor point loosely to secure the MOLLE panel brackets to the vehicle. Do NOT apply final torque at this time. Some small adjustments to the bracket placement can be made to accommodate both the roof rack and MOLLE panel placement.
Once all mounting brackets have been secured to the vehicle in their designated locations, apply final torque to each 10mm lock nut securing the support bracket to the factory anchor points. Torque to 10 ft/lbs.
First, identify the driver and passenger MOLLE panel.
Next, using a 5mm Allen key, fasten 1 provided 5mm M8x1.25 Allen bolt, and 1 M8 washer to each threaded slot on the support bracket as shown below. We recommend the following placement.
Next, tape off a corner of the backing tape cover so it can be removed once the molle panel is in place.
Repeat this step for both MOLLE panels.
Now that the MOLLE panels have been assembled, carefully place the MOLLE panel over the support brackets as shown below. Ensure that the panel slides over the support brackets.
Note: If there is an issue sliding the MOLLE panel over the support brackets, consider loosening the support brackets and adjusting their placement forward or backward on the truck until the MOLLE panel fits over the support bracket studs accordingly. Be sure the support brackets are retorqued before the MOLLE panel is secured to the vehicle.
Using a 15mm socket, fasten a provided M8 washer and M8x1.25 lock nut to each exposed support bracket stud. There are 2 studs per support bracket, and 3 support brackets per MOLLE panel.
Once all mocknuts have been secured to the support bracket studs, torque to 12 ft/lbs.
Once the hardware has been torqued accordingly, you will have one person lightly lift the molle panel away and downward from the vehicle to allow for clearance. The other person will pull the tape backing off.
Once the tape backing has been removed, you will lightly pull the molle panel down and away from the vehicle in a slow sweeping motion until the support bracket is pressed against the rear quarter panel.
Repeat steps 1 through 4 for the other side of the vehicle to complete your installation.
Congratulations! Your Installation is complete!
