Every Tesla build starts with a perfectly reasonable thought: “I’m just going to look at wheels.” Then you pick a finish. Add tires. Start thinking about lowering springs. Suddenly, you’re zooming in on someone else’s Model 3 at 11:47 p.m., trying to figure out their fitment.
We get it. We work here, and we still do this.
The challenge is turning that saved photo into a build that works for your car, your driving, and your budget. You can spread the purchases out over time, or, if the terms make sense for you, spread the payments out and coordinate the installation.
Either way, a little planning beats a garage full of boxes and a car that’s “almost done.”
Your build has options. So do your payments.
Figuring out how to pay should take less effort. At Unplugged Performance, we offer flexible payment options through Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay, and PayPal, with available plans shown at checkout. Depending on your purchase and eligibility, you can split the cost into four payments or choose monthly financing.
Here is how the two options work.
Pay in 4: split the cost over six weeks.
For eligible purchases, Pay in 4 through Klarna, Afterpay, or PayPal divides your total into four interest-free payments. The first is due at checkout, followed by three payments every two weeks.
It can be a useful option for that spacer kit, sway bar, or other upgrade you have been eyeing. Just check the provider’s terms and payment schedule before confirming; late fees may apply depending on the provider.
Monthly financing: spread payments over a longer period.
Planning wheels, tires, and suspension together? Monthly financing through providers such as Affirm and Klarna may give you more time to pay for an eligible purchase.
Before accepting a plan, you can review the available repayment term, monthly payment, APR, and total amount you will pay. Available offers depend on the provider, purchase amount, and your eligibility. Some qualifying plans may offer 0% APR; others charge interest, and a down payment may be required.
The monthly number matters, but so does the total. Give both a look before deciding what works for you.
How it works at checkout
- Add your parts to the cart. Our team can help confirm fitment and put together a combination that suits your goals.
- Choose an available payment provider at checkout. Follow the prompts to check your eligibility and view your options.
- Review the details. Check the payment amounts, due dates, any interest or fees, and the total cost.
- Confirm the plan that fits your budget. If approved, complete your purchase and make payments according to your agreement with the provider.

Your factory wheels can help fund their replacements
Trade in your OEM wheels. Buy a full set of four UP Forged wheels or a wheel and tire package, select the Trade-In Rebate option before adding to cart, and send us your factory wheels in the boxes yours arrived in.
Pass inspection and you get up to $1,000 back on the card you paid with. Model S, Model X, Cybertruck and 2024+ Model 3 Performance wheels earn the full amount; most Model 3 and Model Y OEM wheels earn up to $500. Wheels need to be undamaged, with factory covers and center caps, shipped within 14 business days. Email us photos first and we will pre-inspect before you ship anything.
Additional store credit you can earn
You can get paid for your opinion. UP Rewards runs at 100 points to the dollar. A product review earns 2,000 points, which is $20 toward your next UP order. A Reddit post about your build earns 4,000, which is $40. Google reviews and Tesla forum posts earn 2,000. You also earn a point per dollar on everything you buy, and 2,500 points when a friend places their first order on your referral link.
None of that is life-changing money on its own, however, when stacked against a wheel and tire package, with a trade-in rebate on top and the balance spread across monthly payments, it changes what you can actually order this year.
To conclude
Financing is a tool, not a discount. You are still paying for the parts, and on a monthly plan with an APR attached you may pay a little more for them. What it buys you is timing: the build happens now, on one install appointment, instead of in four separate orders spread across two winters.
