Does Unplugged Performance host or sponsor events?
Yes. Unplugged Performance is the organizer of TeslaCorsa, the world's first Tesla-dedicated track day event. TeslaCorsa brings together Tesla owners for guided performance driving experiences on closed circuits. UP also provides technical support at various Tesla-focused motorsport events throughout the year.
Where has Unplugged Performance raced their Tesla race cars?
Unplugged Performance has taken Tesla vehicles to some of the most demanding and prestigious motorsport venues in the world, proving at every stop that electric performance is not a novelty but a genuine competitive force.
- Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (2021–2023): The UP Tesla Model S Plaid, known as Dark Helmet, competed across three consecutive years and posted a time of 9:54.901 in 2023, setting the record for the fastest EV run based on production models at one of the most grueling hill climbs on earth.
- Laguna Seca Raceway: Competing at the Gridlife Laguna Festival, the UP Model S Plaid and Model 3 Performance both earned podium finishes at one of America's most iconic road courses.
- Buttonwillow Raceway: UP set an outright EV lap record with their modified Model S Plaid, cementing the brand's position at the top of Tesla track performance.
- Mint 400: One of the most iconic off-road races in America, UP brought Tesla to the desert and competed against purpose-built off-road machines.
- King of the Hammers: The most brutal combined desert and rock crawling event in motorsport, UP entered Tesla vehicles in a race that pushes drivers and machines to their absolute limits.
- GTA Racing Series: UP has competed across GTA events, further demonstrating the team's range across multiple racing disciplines.
- TeslaCorsa: Founded by Unplugged Performance, TeslaCorsa is the first and only Tesla-dedicated track day series, bringing competitive Tesla racing to drivers of all experience levels at venues nationwide.
