Two record-setting products are designed to help Model 3 and Model Y owners to experience improved handling and achieve better lap times

We initially shared news of our billet rear arm set for the Model 3 and Model Y in December 2017, which included an early version of these, our rear camber arms, and rear toe arms. We set racing records back then with them and while the other items on that list received continued refinement and eventual release, we’ve never offered a public release of these traction and trailing arms. Until now. They’re now in stock, tested extensively over the years and ready to ship worldwide! These high-end racing upgrades are produced from forged machined 6061 billet aluminum, providing exceptional strength and durability. Furthermore, the material is fully showcased due to military-grade Cerakote clear ceramic protective finish, and paired with high-end sealed spherical bearings that are normally used on high-end performance cars. These are a perfect addition to both daily driven and track cars with no added NVH, but with less slop and more direct handling response. Matt Farah and countless other drivers over the years have driven on these and loved the handling. And now, we are pleased to offer them to the public for the first time.

A Backstory From 2017

Our Billet Rear Traction and Billet Rear Trailing Arms are designed by drivers for drivers. Our original full billet rear arm set (rear camber, rear toe, rear traction, and rear trailing arms) traces an origin back to the early days of TeslaCorsa in late 2017. In fact, the first car of ours Randy Pobst was involved in development feedback was utilizing an early version of these rear arms. While our rear camber and toe arms have seen the public release and won over driving enthusiasts worldwide, we’ve been admittedly slow to finally offer a public release of our rear traction and trailing arms. The wait is now over and this recently revised next-generation UP rear arms are finally perfected for public release. Our unparalleled history of street and race Tesla Model 3 upgrade development is utilized in the design and rugged specifications to ensure these are perfect for daily driven high milage cars as well as purpose-built race cars. Prior to public release, we’ve set multiple lap records in multiple countries using these arms and we’re pleased to finally offer them for wider release!

Daily Driver and Race Cars Perfected – Handling You Can Feel

The UP Billet Rear Traction Arms and Billet Rear Trailing Arms can work in conjunction with a fully stock suspension or a fully upgraded suspension to road feel and ultimately handling. All driving enthusiasts unanimously agree that getting direct feedback, and a crisper response with less slop is a great thing. With a Tesla, in particular, a key design factor in achieving this without increased NVH (Noise, Vibration, or Harshness) problems. As a result of this desire, many high-end cars utilize sealed spherical bearings for this very purpose in their suspension. The Model 3 happens to have more slop in the factory rubber bushings than we prefer and as a result, we created this original product in 2018 and have since then evolved it into the current generation.

Factory+ Reliability and Unrivaled Construction Materials

We built every set out of the best materials, we finish them in the most durable finishes and we equip them with the most premium bushings money can buy. Specifically, this means we utilize forged 6061 forged billet which we precision machine in Los Angeles, then we utilize military-grade clear Cerakote ceramic hard coating finish to showcase the natural billet and we pair them with a premium car manufacturer’s sealed spherical bushings that are proven to be reliable for hundreds of thousands of miles. Just like the rest of our suspension which is daily driven tested, raced on, and (unfortunately) even crash tested at Pikes Peak, all of our products stand the test of time and carry an industry-leading warranty to back it up.

Pairings

When used in combination with Unplugged Performance CoiloversBillet Adjustable Rear Camber Arm Set V3,  Billet Adjustable Rear Toe Arm Set V3 (Model 3 / Model Y) and Billet Height Adjustable Rear Spring Arms – Ultimate Edition, our Billet Rear Traction Arm Set (aka Upper Fore Link) and Billet Rear Trailing Arm Set (aka Lower Aft Link) complete the ultimate rear suspension set up for any Tesla Model 3 or Tesla Model Y.

Don’t take our word for how our cars handle with these, ask any UP client or take a few minutes and watch below as we win over a historically harsh Tesla critic Matt Farah with the driving performance of our Ascension-R (these arms were fitted on that car for the video shoot) in a video below.
