Inspired by Tesla’s Legacy
The UP-02 draws inspiration from Tesla’s renowned uberturbine wheel, a design that reflected the forward thinking ethos Tesla embodied. Visually, the wheels featured a curved split 5-spoke design that radiates outward in a twisted, turbine-like pattern, giving the impression of motion even when the vehicle is stationary. With that design in mind, our design team wanted to keep the same curve-like turbine pattern to create a wheel that surpasses its predecessor in both form and function. The result is a wheel that captures the essence of Tesla’s design DNA while delivering modern performance benefits that continue to push the Model S forward.
Distinctive Twisted Profile
One of the most striking features of the UP-02 is its twisted split 5-spoke design, a visual tribute to the Tesla turbine wheel. By minimizing the amount of spokes, we are able to shave off unnecessary material that results in weight savings for the performance benefit of your Model S. Forged for Unmatched Strength
The UP-02 is meant to be tough as s*@t. Many aftermarket wheels are produced in a casting process that nets a heavy and weaker wheel making it range-inefficient and often times prone to cracking and bending making that inexpensive wheel even more expensive in the long run. UP-02 wheels, like all UP Forged wheels, are manufactured using the forging process, meaning the wheels are milled from a single solid piece of aluminum resulting in an extremely strong and lightweight wheel designed to exceed all standards. Beautiful wheels. These have the most style. The black matches perfectly with the blue.
To complete the look, add the super light titanium lug nuts and the carbon ceramic front big brake kit, as shown in the picture.

The pictures on the website does not do justice. the wheels look extremely beautiful. Kirk was extremely helpful, and coordination was amazing. My wheels are gloss black, not able to add a picture to the review if not would do it. I went with slightly bigger wheels 20×10.5 front and 20X11 back. It took roughly 3 months for my custom order to be ready, which is what I was told. Shipping and packing were amazing. I installed it myself and installation was a breeze without any issues. I have been driving it for over 3 weeks now. The ride feels as quiet as my 19-inch tempest OEM wheels, but I feel a bit sportier and sits a tiny hair lower compared to OEM 19 inch. These wheels although fully forged and lighter, I see a bit of a hit in the mileage. I feel I am losing 5 to 7% range compared to my OEM wheels. It doesn’t bother me much. I would take the compromise for the looks and control anytime. I think the loss in range is due to bigger wheels and all-season new tires. Exceed expectations in the overall process. Thank you UP!!!
