UP INVINCIBLE® Side Sail Panel MOLLE Rack Set enables even more adventure for your Cybertruck. MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment and as such the heavy duty MOLLE panels, which cover the side sail panels along the outside upper-edge of the Cybertruck’s bed, turn that surface into functional mountable surface area for lightweight off-road gear, camping gear, or kill-all-the-zombies gear. The Side Sail MOLLE Rack Set mounts to the lower 3 UP INVINCIBLE® Roof Rack rails or can be installed on factory mounting points using included mounting brackets.
Roof Applique Requirement:
This rack set is compatible with every Tesla Cybertruck. It mounts using the factory sail panel mounting points that are part of Tesla’s roof applique for crossbars, and those mounting points are required either way, whether you install the MOLLE racks directly on the factory points or on the lower three UP INVINCIBLE® Roof Rack rails.
Some Cybertrucks now ship from Tesla without the roof applique installed. If yours does not have it, order Tesla’s Cybertruck Roof Applique for Crossbars and install it first. Once those mounting points are in place, the UP INVINCIBLE® Side Sail Panel MOLLE Rack Set installs exactly as designed using the included mounting brackets. Nothing about the UP hardware changes. The applique simply provides the factory mounting points our brackets bolt to.
How to check your truck: look along the upper edge of each sail panel, where the bed rail meets the cab. If the applique and its crossbar mounting points are there, you are ready to install. If that area is bare, order the Tesla applique first.
Materials:
Our parts are crafted from a combination of materials, each carefully selected to leverage its unique strengths and benefits. Our accessory parts are made of combination of A36, 1010 and 1008 steel. A36 is primarily used, which is valued for its strength, toughness, and weldability. This combination ensures optimal performance and long-lasting reliability.
Material thicknesses:
Our Cybertruck accessories, including sail panels, roof racks, light bar mounts, Starlink mounts, bed storage, and roof tents, are built using steel ranging from 1/8 inch (gauge 10) to 1/16 inch (gauge 16). This range allows us to optimize each part for strength, durability, and weight.
By placing steel of different thicknesses in the right locations, we ensure each accessory is strong where it matters most while remaining lightweight for maximum efficiency. For example, thicker steel is used in load-bearing areas, while thinner steel is reserved for non-structural components to minimize unnecessary weight.
Finish:
All accessories are finished with a thick black powder coating to resist rust, scratches, and corrosion while delivering a rugged, sleek look that complements the Cybertruck’s design.

What kind of gear can I actually hang on these?
They’re rated for lightweight off-road and camping gear: think a shovel, recovery boards, a fire extinguisher, straps, or a first-aid kit, the sort of items you want reachable but out of the bed floor. The MOLLE webbing is meant for lighter equipment, not heavy cargo. It keeps frequently used trail gear organized on the flanks of the bed.
How does exterior MOLLE storage compare to a bed drawer system?
MOLLE panels keep lighter, grab-and-go gear on the outside of the bed walls, leaving the bed floor and its L-track open for larger cargo. A Bed Storage Pro System locks heavier tools and valuables inside but takes up bed volume. They solve different problems, and a lot of overlanders run both: panels for quick-access trail gear, drawers for secured equipment.
What material are the MOLLE sail panels, and how do they hold up outdoors?
They’re made primarily from A36 steel for its strength and weldability, backed by 1010 and 1008 grades in supporting areas, in thicknesses from gauge 10 down to gauge 16 depending on the load. The finish is a satin black powder coating built for all-season durability against rust and corrosion. The store SKU is UP-CT-443-4.1.
What comes in the set?
You get both the right and left side racks, so it covers both sail panels of the bed. It’s a complete pair, not a single side. That symmetry lets you balance gear across the truck, mounting something like a shovel on one side and recovery boards on the other.
How do these mount, and do I need the roof rack too?
You have two options. The set can bolt to the factory OEM mounting points using the included brackets, so it works on its own. Or it can mount to the lower three rails of our UP INVINCIBLE HD Roof Rack Set if you’re running that. The roof rack is sold separately and isn’t required, which keeps the entry point lower if MOLLE panels are all you want.
