They’re built primarily from A36 steel for strength and weldability, with 1010 and 1008 grades in supporting areas, using thicknesses from gauge 10 down to gauge 16 placed by load. The finish is satin black powder coating for all-season durability. Heavy-duty steel is the point here, since a roof rack’s whole job is carrying weight securely.

Pricing runs from $498.75 for a single rail up to $2,895.00 for the full setup with the LED light bar, depending on how you configure it. The rails bolt to OEM points, so a mechanically inclined owner can mount them at home with hand tools; the flat-plane design does the hard part of getting everything level. The optional 50-inch double-row LED light bar is the piece most people slow down for, since it needs a proper power feed and switch. Wire that carefully and the rest is a straightforward bolt-on.

Yes, if your Cybertruck did not come with it. The UP INVINCIBLE® HD Roof Rack rails bolt into the Cybertruck’s factory attachment points, and those mounting points are part of Tesla’s roof applique for crossbars. The same requirement applies to the optional INVINCIBLE® Side Sail Panel MOLLE Rack Set.

Some Cybertrucks now ship from Tesla without the applique installed. If yours does not have it, order Tesla’s Cybertruck Roof Applique for Crossbars and install it first. Once those mounting points are in place, the rails install exactly as designed with no additional modification.

To check your truck, look along the roof line where the cab meets the sail panels. If the applique and its crossbar mounting points are there, you are ready to install. If that area is bare, order the Tesla applique first, or contact our team, and we will confirm fitment for your build.

Unplugged Performance offers a comprehensive warranty on all parts and installations performed by our certified technicians. Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship on items including lowering springs, coilovers, big brake kits, brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, shocks, and more. Should any covered part fail under normal use or display premature wear, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost—assuming the component was installed by us or at one of our authorized partners.

This warranty is valid for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, excluding consumable products like brake pads, rotors, and tires, starting from the installation date. Coverage extends to labor for warranty repairs when performed by Unplugged Performance or an authorized installer. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.

Installing aftermarket parts does not automatically void your Tesla warranty.
