The origin story of the CYBRHEX design traces back to the 2007 “Pharaoh’ ‘concept car by Sasha, years before his renowned work with leading supercar brands. During a late-night conversation, Sasha shared some of his old concept car sketches with UP Co-Founder and CEO, Ben Schaffer. Ben was immediately captivated by the timeless design and presence of the Pharaoh.
“There’s a shared quality of timelessness with both the Pharaoh concept and the Cybertruck. The 70’s inspired wedge design in both cases represents a visual that would be equally appropriate inserted in scenes from the 1970s, the 2000s, or even a hundred years into the future. This design aesthetic also would be equally appropriate on earth or roaming the surface of other planets. Following this conversation, we meticulously engineered this timeless wheel design concept from Sasha’s 2007 ideation into a high-performance, rugged option machined from forged 6061-T6 billet aluminum. In person, the wheel delivers a visual trick, appearing as if it’s CGI in real life—a similar reaction fans have when seeing the Cybertruck for the first time.

Why does my Tesla show a TPMS fault when parked near other wheels?

This “crosstalk” prevents the system from locking onto the active tires. The issue typically resolves itself once the vehicle drives away from the stored wheels.
Why It Happens
- Signal Overlap (Bluetooth/RF Interference): Newer Teslas (Model 3, Model Y, Cybertruck, and refreshed S/X) use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensors, while older models use 433 MHz radio frequencies. When stored wheels are within range, the car receives data from up to eight sensors simultaneously. The system struggles to distinguish which sensors are actually on the car.
- Sensor ID Confusion: Every TPMS sensor has a unique ID. If your Tesla previously “learned” the sensors on your stored wheels, it may attempt to connect to them instead of the currently installed set, triggering a “System Fault” alert.
