Q: If my drive unit fails, will fitting this cooler give Tesla a reason to deny the repair?
Not on its own. A vehicle’s comprehensive warranty is not voided simply by using aftermarket parts, per the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Tesla can charge for a repair only where there is direct causation between your modification and the failure. It is in everyone’s interest to apply logic and good faith here.
