Q: Should I go for larger diameter wheels?

Let’s talk about the pros/cons of going up in size vs. staying stock. This is typically considered when optimizing for a performance-oriented wheel and tire upgrade. When upsizing your wheel, you often inherently downsize the tire size, or rather, the air volume capacity of the tire. By doing so, you are reducing the deflection in the tire, which translates to more direct road feel and steering input, which caters to those looking to improve vehicle responsiveness. From a comfort perspective, however, a larger wheel and smaller tire combination often reduces the ride comfort of the vehicle. If you are looking to improve the comfort of the vehicle as opposed to increase road feel and performance, then a smaller wheel and larger tire will be a more effective comfort-oriented wheel and tire upgrade.

A must to get with the coil overs installed on my model 3. I must admit that I was worried that they might stiffen up the chassis a little too much, but they did not. Highly recommended!

Purchased these with the luxury coilovers but kept things at stock ride height. So far, everything is great!

I bought 2023 Tesla Model Y in December 2022 and immediately noticed rough and bumpy ride. I contacted Tesla service, assuming that something is broken, but they confirmed that this is how stock suspension supposed to feel. Fortunately an aftermarket solution exists. I ordered Luxury Coilover Kit...

I have a Tesla Model 3 LR but the rep at UP accidentally ordered the MY listing instead which is the same since both M3 and MY share most parts including struts. Purchased as the roads in DC just aren't very pleasant and combined with Tesla's stock struts, it's pretty horrendous. Delivery took...

Got these coil overs installed on my model 3 performance, and wow what a difference. Not only do they outperform the stock suspension in acceleration and cornering, but they also just ride so much smoother. Highly recommend!

I wanted to wait a few weeks before leaving my review to really see if there was a significant difference and it is a significantly better ride. I commute 70 miles a day on a fairly rough socal highway and the change is noticeable. Yes, you’re still going to feel the bumps but they are not as...

Unplugged Performance UP Emblem You can see my photos under Steve Guevara. The UP Emblem, just another seemingly innocuous item that KIRK added to make the car pop when driving behind it. The sun shines on the titanium and it screams at you and then goes back into its subtle way. To say that I love...

WIFE APPROVED!!! I have a 2018 Model 3 LR AWD with the stock 18" wheels. I've always felt that the ride was a bit stiff and jittery with the stock suspension. Looking around for a solution, I came across coil-over kits which were expensive and I really didn't think I would need the adjustability...

I installed this light bar on my Cybertruck, with the roof rail, a little over a month ago and absolutely love it. Both the light bar and roof rail are very well made and the 34K+ raw lumen turn night into day!. Things to consider: - This light bar, with the roof rail, mount solid to the vehicle...
