Wheel backspace refers to the distance between the back edge of the wheel (the side that faces the vehicle) and the wheel mounting surface (the part of the wheel that attaches to the vehicle’s hub). Essentially, it measures how far the wheel’s centerline is from the hub, helping determine how far the wheel sits inward or outward in relation to the vehicle.

This definitely helps cool down my drive unit quicker. I'm able to run a hot lap at the track, then a single cooldown lap to bring the drivetrain temperature back into the green. It was awesome seeing it cool down within a lap at Buttonwillow.
