Q: Why do monotube coilovers cost more than twin-tube designs?

Monotube construction separates the oil and gas charge into distinct chambers, which eliminates the cavitation and damping fade twin-tube designs can experience under sustained hard use. Performance stays consistent from a cold commute to repeated hot laps. Tighter machining and gas pressurization make monotubes costlier to build. The Sport Pro uses monotube architecture with high-flow D port pistons because consistency under abuse was the design target.
