Tesla Model 3 and Model Y Iron 6-Piston Front Big Brake Kit (BBK) UP x PFC

It runs 394mm x 35mm iron rotors, about 15.5 inches, with 6-piston monoblock aluminum calipers. The rotors use PFC’s V3 two-piece floating design, and the calipers are the same ones from our Superlight Carbon Ceramic kit. That combination of massive size and 6-piston clamping is what a track-driven Model 3 or Model Y needs, since the car’s weight overtaxes even upgraded stock brakes.

It fits all generations of Model 3 and Model 3 Performance, and all generations of Model Y and Model Y Performance. You select 2017-2023 Model 3, 2024+ Model 3, or Model Y at checkout, plus caliper color. An early Model 3 or a current Model Y, the front kit covers both. Rear and pad choices are configured separately.

The 394mm kit fits UP’s 18-inch forged race wheels and some, but not all, 18-inch forged wheels with high inner-barrel clearance; 18-inch Model 3 stock wheels will not fit. 19-inch wheels and larger clear it more easily with less thought. PFC, Performance Friction, is the official brake supplier for Porsche factory motorsports, including 991 GT3 Cup cars, and their ZeroFailure rotors are respected for durability under the harshest racing conditions. This kit uses their latest V3 rotors, which join the two-piece rotor and hat without traditional bolts, making them quieter and more rattle-free than typical bolted two-piece designs. For racers, PFC needs no introduction.

PFC’s full-floating Direct Drive attachment lets the disc expand and contract radially and axially without being constrained by the hub. That helps eliminate rotor warping while cutting drag, and it kills thermal judder, the vibration and pulsation you feel through a warped rotor. It also runs silent and rattle-free, which two-piece designs usually cannot claim. On a heavy car generating big heat, that stability keeps the pedal consistent.

The kit includes the 6-piston calipers with hardware, the 394mm PFC V3 rotors, PFC pads designed specifically for this kit, 6061 billet caliper adapter brackets, and German TUV-produced stainless steel braided brake lines made for the Model 3 and Model Y. It has everything needed to install except high-performance brake fluid, which you supply from any auto parts retailer. Installing aftermarket parts does not automatically void your Tesla warranty.
