Yes, the bolt-in system includes slider rails, so you retain fore-and-aft adjustment to set your driving position and share the car. The base is designed to sit as low as possible for an ideal seating position, which matters for headroom and center of gravity. You lose the stock seat’s power recline and heating, but you keep the practical ability to move the seat.

Both come wrapped in Alcantara; the difference is the shell. Carbon is lighter and the choice if saving weight and the visual matter most to you. Fiberglass costs less and is plenty strong for street and track use. If you are building a weight-focused Plaid, go carbon. If value is the priority and you still want the bucket’s support and look, fiberglass delivers it.

Fitting an aftermarket seat does not automatically void your Tesla coverage. This warranty is valid for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, excluding consumable products like brake pads, rotors, and tires, starting from the installation date. Coverage extends to labor for warranty repairs when performed by Unplugged Performance or an authorized installer. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.

Installing aftermarket parts does not automatically void your Tesla warranty.
