UP X Öhlins TTX Pikes Peak Spec Race Coilovers were built to set race records, just as we’ve done with our Model S Plaid race car, Dark Helmet, at every track and race event it has run, including in the rigorous and brutal conditions on America’s Mountain at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Designed as a complete replacement for the 2021+ Model S factory air suspension, these TTX coilovers are offered in 2 variations, a 2-way adjustable coilover that allows for individual tuning of rebound and compression as well as the 4-way coilovers which add individual tuning of the rebound and compression with settings for both low-speed and high-speed.

The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is one of the world’s most famous and long-running motorsport events. Pikes Peak is notoriously treacherous and dangerous to drive a car full out through crazy turns up the sheer cliffs of the unforgiving “America’s Mountain.” This utterly epic suspension system is designed to control the nearly 5000-lb Tesla Model S Plaid on the most challenging roads and racetracks, as typified by the wild and crazy Pikes Peak course. This suspension has already been used to set EV records at several tracks. This year, we had an unfortunate issue with the windshield fogging up in inclement conditions at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, rendering us unable to have a competitive run; however, the intense development and practice schedule gave us an excellent opportunity to develop further and refine this Coilover kit and fine-tuned it to perform in the harshest possible conditions.

- We strongly recommend pairing this kit with the full suite of UP Suspension upgrades so that the vehicle can be adequately set up and take maximum advantage of this fantastic suspension.
- Customers purchasing this kit who do not have experience with a 4-way adjustment suspension setup can enlist trackside support from Unplugged Performance (additional staffing costs apply); please contact us for details.
- This kit removes the in-cabin suspension adjustment options for ride height and comfort. While the ride remains compliant for street use and challenging tracks such as Pikes Peak or the Nürburgring, this modification is intended for track use. We do not recommend this to the average customer for their daily driver since losing the in-cabin height adjustability may prove inconvenient for primarily street use.
- This kit permanently modifies your original air suspension components during installation. You cannot return the vehicle to stock specification without purchasing new Tesla shocks

Will upgrading my brakes void the Tesla warranty?
Tesla’s warranty covers factory-installed parts, but it does not automatically void your warranty if you install aftermarket components like Unplugged Performance brake kits. Under U.S. law (Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act), Tesla must prove that an aftermarket part caused a failure in order to deny warranty coverage. Our parts are engineered to work harmoniously with Tesla OEM Brake systems and can be professionally installed by Unplugged Performance in Hawthorne, CA or by an authorized installer to minimize risk. That said, any damage directly caused by misuse or improper installation may not be covered. We recommend retaining all factory parts so you can revert to stock if needed. Many Tesla owners enjoy peace of mind by using Unplugged Performance products, which are extensively tested and installed by certified professionals. What does the Unplugged Performance product warranty cover?
Unplugged Performance offers a comprehensive warranty on all parts and installations performed by our certified technicians. Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship on items including lowering springs, coilovers, big brake kits, brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, shocks, and more. Should any covered part fail under normal use or display premature wear, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost—assuming the component was installed by us or at one of our authorized partners.
This warranty is valid for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, excluding consumable products like brake pads, rotors, and tires, starting from the installation date. Coverage extends to labor for warranty repairs when performed by Unplugged Performance or an authorized installer. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.

Will installing Unplugged Performance parts void my Tesla warranty?
Installing aftermarket parts does not automatically void your Tesla warranty.
