A lot of companies are talking about a lift kit for the Tesla Cybertruck. We decided to take the longer road and actually build one properly.

Now, after more than two years of development, thousands of miles of real-world testing, off-road use, overlanding, highway driving, and even racing at the Mint 400, the production-ready UP INVINCIBLE 2.5-Inch Lift Kit is finally here and available to order.

This is not a shortcut. It is not a sensor trick. It is not a “good enough” spacer solution rushed to market in order to be first. It is a fully engineered system designed to work with the Cybertruck’s factory architecture, not against it. That distinction matters, because the Cybertruck is not a conventional truck, and lifting it is not as simple as making it taller.

The Cybertruck already comes with factory air suspension, steer-by-wire, rear-wheel steering, and ride height sensors integrated into the suspension geometry. Those systems are part of what makes the truck so advanced, but they also make suspension development far more complex. You cannot ignore those systems when designing a lift. You have to build around them carefully, because the wrong approach can create bigger problems than the ones you were trying to solve.

That is exactly why this kit took time.

Early in development, we found something important. When the Cybertruck is pushed hard off-road and the suspension compresses under load, the factory upper control arm can become a limiting factor. In extreme situations, it can swing upward and contact the body of the vehicle. That means the issue is not simply about wanting more height for appearance. There was a real functional need to improve clearance while also optimizing the suspension geometry so the truck could operate more confidently in demanding terrain.

At the same time, we saw a lot of other “lift” approaches in the market that relied on tricking the height sensors in order to force the factory air suspension to overextend. That may achieve more ride height visually, but it is not the right way to do it. When you lift the suspension without supporting modifications, you risk losing suspension droop and potentially overextending the shocks. That is the kind of issue that shows up on a trail, far from home, when the truck is being used the way it was meant to be used.

So we built something better.

The UP INVINCIBLE 2.5-Inch Lift Kit is a lift system that sits between the subframe and the chassis of the vehicle. That is the critical difference. Instead of forcing the factory suspension beyond its intended operating range, this system lifts the body relative to the subframe. The result is 2.5 inches of true lift and up to 19.5 inches of ground clearance while preserving the functionality of the factory air suspension, ride height adjustability, and suspension modes.

Because of that architecture, the truck maintains the systems that make the Cybertruck special in the first place. The factory air suspension still does its job. The truck’s steer-by-wire and rear-wheel steering systems remain compatible. Ride height logic stays intact. Nothing is being artificially overextended or asked to operate outside of its intended range.

Of course, creating that kind of lift correctly required much more than a simple spacer. Raising the body created additional development needs throughout the rest of the system. We developed high-clearance front and rear upper control arms to accommodate the revised geometry while maintaining the proper positions for the factory air suspension sensors. Those components are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum using precision 5-axis CNC machining, with stainless steel used throughout where strength and durability matter most. The kit is comprehensive, engineered, and purpose-built rather than improvised.

We also developed a new underbody armor to complement the new vehicle height and better protect the underside of the truck when driven off-road. That protection is especially important for owners who plan to use the Cybertruck where breakover angles, rock contact, ruts, and uneven terrain are part of the experience. The underbody armor also helps smooth airflow beneath the truck, which is an important detail on a vehicle where efficiency still matters. For customers building a fully integrated INVINCIBLE setup, that underbody protection is designed to only work with our INVINCIBLE front and rear bumpers.

The final stage of validation came in the harshest environment we could give it: the Mint 400.

We installed the prototype version of the lift kit on the only Cybertruck competing in the race, then pushed it into one of the toughest off-road events in America. That race gave us something no simulation, no spreadsheet, and no controlled test loop ever could: a real failure under real stress. During the race, an attachment pin failed on course. The team performed an emergency repair with help from the off-road community and got the truck moving again, but the damage was done.

That moment mattered.

It would have been easy to hide the weakness, soften the story, or pretend the prototype was perfect. Instead, we treated the failure the way any serious engineering team should. We studied it. We understood exactly where the limit had been reached. Then our engineers went back and created a reinforced design while reducing the overall component count to eliminate additional potential failure points. In simple terms, we made the system stronger, cleaner, and more robust.

That is why the production version available now is so important. This is not the first draft. This is not the race prototype. This is the final production iteration informed by real-world testing, real-world abuse, and real-world lessons.

So who is this lift kit really for?

It is for the Cybertruck owner who actually uses their truck as a truck. If your idea of adventure includes dirt trails, rocky terrain, remote campsites, steep driveways, uneven job sites, or overland travel, this lift kit makes a real difference. The increase in ground clearance improves approach, breakover, and departure angles. The optimized geometry gives the suspension more room to do its job under compression. The added clearance creates more confidence where the terrain gets unpredictable.

It is also for the owner who wants a more aggressive, more purposeful stance without compromising the factory systems that make the Cybertruck so advanced. The truck sits higher, looks stronger, and carries more visual authority, but the engineering underneath is what truly sets this kit apart.

As with any lift, there are tradeoffs. Increased ride height can reduce efficiency at highway speeds, and we always believe customers should understand both the benefits and the compromises of any serious modification. That said, if capability, durability, and thoughtful engineering are your priorities, this is the lift kit we built for you.

The UP INVINCIBLE 2.5-Inch Cybertruck Lift Kit is available now to shop online with a MSRP of $9,995.0, and for customers who want professional installation, it can also be installed locally at our Hawthorne location in Los Angeles or our Fremont location in the Bay Area.

We took our time with this product because we believed the Cybertruck deserved a real solution. We tested it, pushed it, broke it, improved it, and finished it properly. Now it is ready for customers who want to take their Cybertruck further.

If you have been waiting for the right lift kit, this is it.
