Hawthorne, California, January 17th, 2022 – We are proud to announce a manufacturing partnership between Unplugged Performance x Koenigsegg Advanced Manufacturing (UP x KAM). Koenigsegg, the world’s leading Hypercar manufacturer, is now producing Unplugged Performance tuning products for your Tesla.
The manufacturing partnership began privately in 2021. That changes today as some of the initial products in the collaboration series are now public and available in limited quantities for worldwide shipping. Additional collaborations between Unplugged and Koenigsegg are expected to debut later in 2022. The current release of UP x KAM collaboration products all utilize Koenigsegg’s world-leading specialty in carbon fiber manufacturing. Every item is produced by Koenigsegg’s highly skilled craftsmen and manufactured with the same materials on the same production line as all current generation Koenigsegg Hypercar carbon fiber aerodynamics.
UP x KAM carbon fiber parts are made exclusively from Koenigsegg’s proprietary carbon fiber weave which is pre-impregnated with epoxy resin, precision computer cut to the geometry of the product, assembled by hand by artisans using specialized tooling, pressurized, and temperature optimized in an autoclave, extracted, precision trimmed, sanded, precision bonded, finished in a UV clear coat and topped with a special collaboration sticker indicating the manufacturing partnership.

This offering represents a first step in the Unplugged Performance x Koenigsegg Advanced Manufacturing partnership. Limited inventory is currently in stock at Unplugged Performance’s Hawthorne headquarters. Tesla owners can expect further collaborations between the brands as Unplugged Performance together with Koenigsegg bring new levels of quality and innovation to the Tesla ownership experience.
