The front suspension of the Model S is braced by the firewall and front strut tower bar from the factory; however, the factory setup for the rear of the chassis is absent of any bracing and is free to sway and flex under higher g-force loads when driving spiritedly or racing, or on uneven surfaces. Our Rear Strut Tower Brace solves this issue to eliminate rear chassis flex.

The 2021+ generation of the Tesla Model S looks quite similar to the earlier generations on the outside, but the updated Plaid and Long-Range models are built on an entirely new chassis architecture that relies on the battery pack as a structural element. While being an engineering masterpiece by Tesla that lowers the center of gravity, the impactful result is an ultralight construction that allows for a significant amount of flexion in the upper portion of the chassis. The effect of this flex can be felt from the driver’s seat primarily through sway, slop, and interior noise such as squeaks and rattles caused by the movement occurring in the upper chassis.

By bracing both sides of the rear strut perches together we are effectively removing all flexion that occurs in the chassis from right side to left side, as well as fore, aft and cross-chassis flexion.
