Q: PD wheel and tire package versus buying the bare PD wheels, which is smarter?
The package makes sense when you want it solved in one purchase: the right tires, mounting, balancing, and TPMS are all included and validated. Buying the bare PD wheel set makes sense if you already have tires you want to reuse or a specific tire in mind. Same forged wheel either way. The package saves you sourcing and a trip to the tire shop; the bare set saves money if you are supplying rubber.
