Police and Fleet Sales Manager – Tesla Vehicles – Full Time (Hawthorne, CA)

enhanced performance and specialized use cases. As we expand our services to meet the unique needs
of law enforcement agencies, we are seeking a dedicated Sales Manager to lead our efforts in promoting
Tesla police vehicles. This role is pivotal in helping us drive the transition towards sustainable and
advanced mobility solutions in law enforcement.
Role Summary
The Sales Manager for Tesla Police Vehicles will be responsible for developing and executing sales
strategies to introduce and sell customized Tesla vehicles to police departments and law enforcement
agencies across the United States. This individual will act as the primary liaison between Unplugged
Performance and potential law enforcement clients, ensuring their unique needs are met with our high-
performance, sustainable vehicle solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to law enforcement markets, with a
focus on promoting the benefits of Tesla vehicles (EVs) for police use. - Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with police departments and law
enforcement agencies, understanding their specific requirements and how our Tesla police
vehicles can meet those needs. - Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and advantages of
Tesla police vehicles. - Navigate government procurement processes, understanding and leveraging the specific
requirements and cycles of law enforcement agencies. - Collaborate with the UP.FIT team to provide feedback from law enforcement clients to guide
customization and improvement of Tesla police vehicles. - Keep up-to-date with law enforcement industry trends, needs, and the competitive landscape to
adapt sales strategies accordingly. - Meet and exceed sales targets within assigned territory or segment.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and workshops to build network and promote our
offerings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a role directly selling to or working with law
enforcement agencies preferred. - Experience in law enforcement, particularly in leadership roles such as a retired police chief, or
experience in fleet management or procurement management within law enforcement
agencies. - Strong understanding of the law enforcement sector, including procurement processes and
operational needs of police departments. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Knowledge of electric vehicles and a passion for sustainability preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively to meet with clients and attend industry events.
