Q: Does building an off-road Model Y like this void the Tesla warranty?
Not on its face. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act keeps a manufacturer from voiding your entire warranty just because aftermarket parts are installed; Tesla would need to prove a given part caused a specific failure. Off-road use itself is demanding, though, and our own coverage excludes damage from off-road abuse, so drive within reason. Keeping factory suspension components makes returning to stock easier if you ever need to.
