Q: What does a rear sway bar change on an autocross course?

Rear roll stiffness shifts the handling balance. Stiffen the rear relative to the front and the car rotates more willingly into corners, cutting the understeer that most street cars, the Model 3 included, ship with. On a tight course that rotation is time. An adjustable bar lets you tune how much rotation you want between runs, without touching anything else.
