Q: What does a sway bar do, and will it really change how my Model S feels?
A sway bar ties the left and right wheels together so the car leans less in corners, which keeps the tires flatter and the chassis more balanced. On the Model S it is the upgrade you feel most for the money: less body roll and much sharper turn-in, in a more planted, stable car. Because these bars are adjustable, you can tune that effect toward comfort or toward aggression depending on the drive.
