Q: What grade of steel is used and how thick is it?
Structural parts are primarily A36 steel with thickness set by function. Internal reinforcements run heavier, exposed structures use just over one eighth inch steel for durability, and non-load-bearing panels are lighter to save mass. Everything gets a satin black powder coat over proper preparation so it shrugs off corrosion and trail scuffs. The goal is strength where it takes hits, low weight where it doesn’t.
