Q: What is this cooler made of and how is it finished?
It is machined from billet aluminum with a radial cooling fin heat-sink design, then finished in a hard-anodized black treatment for maximum heat rejection. That construction is why it moves heat better than the plastic-bodied factory filter it replaces. The materials are chosen for durability and thermal performance, which is what let it survive testing at Pikes Peak and multiple road courses.
