Q: Why does a heavy EV truck need forged wheels for this kind of duty?

Because the Cybertruck is heavy and makes big torque, the wheel has to carry serious load without deflecting. The 20-inch UP.FIT Forged PD wheel is 6061-T6 forged for a very high load capacity and strong resistance to bending or cracking, at less weight than cast or steel. Lower rotating mass sharpens steering feel and helps efficiency, and it holds up to potholes and curbs that defeat cast wheels.
