Q: Why is the front sway bar install so much more involved than the rear?

The front bar’s location requires dropping the subframe and disconnecting the axles to fit it, which is a deep, labor-intensive job. Because of that, there is a heightened risk that Tesla could deny a related warranty claim, and professional installation is strongly advised. We ask that you consult an Unplugged Performance specialist before ordering the front bar. The rear bar, by contrast, is a simple bolt-on that does not require that work.
