Q: Why would I need adjustable toe arms after lowering my Model S?

Lowering a Model S changes rear suspension angles, and toe usually shifts along with ride height. If the rear toe ends up off, the car can feel nervous and the tires scrub away tread fast. Adjustable arms give the alignment tech the range to bring toe back to a correct setting at the lower stance, instead of leaving it wherever the drop put it.
