What color options can I configure the Model S UP-04 in?
Four standard coatings: Gloss Black, Satin Black, Satin Bronze, and Satin Titanium, with a custom finish available if you have a specific color in mind. You set the finish alongside the size when configuring the wheel. Bronze and titanium warm up a darker Model S or Model X, while the blacks keep the corners understated.
How is a forged UP-04 different from a flow-formed wheel?
Forging presses a solid aluminum billet under high pressure so the grain follows the wheel shape, generally yielding more strength per pound than flow-forming, which stretches a cast barrel. That is why forged wheels like the UP-04 and its sibling the UP-02 tend to be the choice for owners who want both light weight and track durability. Flow-formed wheels can cost less, so the decision is strength and weight versus price.
Can I turn the UP-04 into a full wheel and tire package?
Yes. At checkout you can choose to make it a wheel and tire package, and a UP Tesla specialist will follow up to sort tires, TPMS, and mount and balance, with the final price set once those are chosen. That way the wheels arrive ready to bolt on rather than as bare rims. A common 20-inch Model S choice is the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 in 255/45ZR20, so mention your tire preference when the team reaches out.
What is the OEM wheel trade-in on these?
For a limited time UP offers a $1000 rebate when you trade in undamaged OEM Model S wheels toward the UP-04. The rebate comes as a refund to your payment method after your wheels pass inspection. If your factory wheels are in good shape, it meaningfully lowers the cost of moving to forged, so factor it in when you order.
How much do the UP-04 wheels cost?
Pricing runs from $973.75 to $1,895.00 depending on the size and finish you select. Larger diameters and widebody specs sit at the upper end of that range. Because this is a configurable wheel, confirm the price for your exact size and finish combination before you order.
What does the Unplugged Performance product warranty cover?
Unplugged Performance offers a comprehensive warranty on all parts and installations performed by our certified technicians. Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship on items including lowering springs, coilovers, big brake kits, brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, shocks, and more. Should any covered part fail under normal use or display premature wear, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost—assuming the component was installed by us or at one of our authorized partners.
This warranty is valid for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, excluding consumable products like brake pads, rotors, and tires, starting from the installation date. Coverage extends to labor for warranty repairs when performed by Unplugged Performance or an authorized installer. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.
To file a warranty claim, simply contact our service team. We’ll guide you through inspection, shipping (if needed), and repair or replacement logistics. transparencia and top-tier support are what you can expect from Unplugged.
Will installing Unplugged Performance parts void my Tesla warranty?
Installing aftermarket parts does not automatically void your Tesla warranty. Under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act (www.sema.org/sema-enews/2011/01/ftc-validates-right-to-install-aftermarket-parts), a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because you installed aftermarket parts. Tesla must prove that the aftermarket part caused the specific failure in question to deny a warranty claim. UP recommends retaining all factory parts to allow reverting to stock if needed.Â
What are the shipping options and times?
Unplugged Performance processes orders quickly, typically within 1–2 business days after placement. For U.S. customers, orders under $50 usually ship via FedEx SmartPost with an estimated delivery time of 2–7 business days. Larger items like body kits or bumpers may ship via freight carriers with curbside delivery; customers will be contacted to schedule a delivery window. International shipping is available to most countries, with shipping costs calculated at checkout. Delivery times abroad vary, generally ranging from 5 to 16 business days depending on destination. Import duties or taxes are the customer’s responsibility. To ensure a smooth shipping experience, provide accurate contact information during checkout. For specific questions or shipping quotes, Unplugged Performance’s support team is available to assist.
