Structural parts are primarily A36 steel with thickness set by function. Internal reinforcements run heavier, exposed structures use just over one eighth inch steel for durability, and non-load-bearing panels are lighter to save mass. The UP 50-inch Double Row High-Output bar carries 96 LEDs and puts out 38,400 raw lumens, mounted to the forward roof rail and integrated with the 48V system. On top of that you get the hood-mounted 50-inch curved bar and the two 11-inch bumper floods for close-in work.

They do double duty. Full-length rock sliders replace the OEM plastic rockers with reinforced steel that protects the stainless body and battery from ledges, and the slider bars work as a stable side step for anyone climbing in, including kids and pets. Out back, the rear bumper’s integrated side steps give fast access to the bed from either side without dropping the tailgate. If a slider bar takes a hit, it unbolts and replaces individually.

This package ships with the Carbon Fiber Hood System in gloss, with the integrated 50-inch curved LED bar and its ducting. The prepreg carbon with Kevlar reinforcement installs over the stainless hood, and the inlet and exit ducts manage airflow to keep the bar within safe operating temperatures. It adds a technical focal point to the nose while doing real cooling work.

Stage 3 is Stage 2 plus the lighting and rooftop hardware. All of it mounts to the chassis, not the stainless bodywork. The rock sliders anchor along the chassis, the bumpers use factory chassis points, and no cutting of body panels is required. Yes. Cameras, sensors, frunk access, charge port, and Tesla’s 48V lighting integration all remain intact by design. Bumper shapes preserve front and rear camera sightlines, and the light bars tie into the native 48V system. Bear in mind that adding steel changes what the cameras perceive, so plan on a post-install inspection with sensor calibration, and supervise the driver-assist features closely afterward.

Every component is direct bolt-on with no body cutting, so a determined owner with help can do it. Realistically this is a big build with a carbon hood, four bumper and slider assemblies, and multiple lighting circuits, so most people have us handle it. Tesla’s warranty covers factory-installed parts, but it does not automatically void your warranty if you install aftermarket components like Unplugged Performance brake kits. Under U.S. law (Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act), Tesla must prove that an aftermarket part caused a failure in order to deny warranty coverage. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.
