Every set of UP-03 Beadlock Forged Wheels ships with a Hide Ring by default. Here’s what that means for you and how to choose the right configuration at checkout.

Hide Ring — Included / Default The Hide Ring delivers the full, aggressive beadlock aesthetic right out of the box. The tire bead mounts traditionally inside the wheel rim — exactly like a standard wheel, making it fully DOT-compliant and street-legal for highway use from day one. The Hide Ring sits in the outer channel of the wheel, giving you the iconic hardware-studded beadlock look without requiring any additional ring torquing during installation. This is the ideal configuration for Cybertruck owners who want the most aggressive aftermarket wheel look available while maintaining daily drivability and full street legality.

Type 1 Beadlock Ring: Functional, BFG-Compatible . The Type 1 Beadlock Ring is a fully functional beadlock ring designed for Cybertruck owners who wheel hard and need true bead retention in the most demanding off-road conditions. Type 1 is specifically compatible with BFGoodrich tires, including the BFG KO3, and features the ring profile geometry needed to properly clamp those tire constructions. In beadlock mode, the tire bead mounts outside the wheel’s outer rim and is physically locked in place by the ring using titanium hardware, allowing you to safely reduce tire pressure to as low as 5 PSI for maximum traction on rocks, loose terrain, sand, and technical trails. Type 2 Beadlock Ring: Functional, Toyo-Compatible. The Type 2 Beadlock Ring is also a fully functional beadlock ring, but features a reduced ring depth profile specifically matched to the bead seat dimensions of select Toyo tires. It delivers the same true off-road clamping performance as the Type 1, locking the tire bead outside the rim for low-PSI rock crawling and trail riding.
