Product Details
Meet the forged 18-inch package that balances daily comfort with real performance. UP-05 is a 6061-T6 monoblock wheel with a timeless Y-spoke design by Sasha Selipanov, optimized for low mass, high strength, and clean airflow. Each wheel includes a knurled bead seat to help resist tire slip under hard acceleration and braking. It accepts Tesla center caps, lug nuts, and Bluetooth TPMS for a true plug-and-play upgrade.
Moving to 18s adds usable sidewall that smooths broken pavement and shields the rim, while reducing rotational mass so the car steps off and changes direction with less effort. This package is curated around proven tire options so you can match your climate and driving style without guesswork.

Why 18-inch on Model 3
- Efficiency and response: less rotating mass helps acceleration and turn-in.
- Ride and protection: taller sidewall absorbs sharp impacts and guards the rim.
- Grip you can use: 245 is a great daily baseline; 265 adds footprint for spirited driving.
Fitment guidance and brake clearance
- All UP-05 18-inch fitments are engineered for every Model 3 trim and year, including Performance, and clears the Performance front brakes.
- 245/45R18 pairs well with 18×9 for daily use and long-distance comfort.
- 265/40R18 is best on 18×9.5 for added grip. On lowered cars, a touch of negative camber is recommended to maximize clearance and tire life.
- Direct use with Tesla lug nuts and TPMS. No spacers required for the 18-inch fitments listed.
- Planning a 18×9.5 setup? For 19×9.5 UP-05, we highly suggest a 5 mm spacer on the front for 2024+ Model 3.

Do forged wheels ride harsher than the stock Tesla wheels?
No, and often the opposite here. Moving from a 19 or 20-inch factory wheel to this 18-inch package adds sidewall, which softens sharp impacts rather than transmitting them into the cabin. Forged construction also drops unsprung mass, so the suspension controls the wheel more easily over bumps. The result most owners report is a smoother, quieter ride with sharper response, not a stiffer one.
What does the Unplugged Performance product warranty cover?
Unplugged Performance offers a comprehensive warranty on all parts and installations performed by our certified technicians. Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship on items including lowering springs, coilovers, big brake kits, brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, shocks, and more. Should any covered part fail under normal use or display premature wear, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost—assuming the component was installed by us or at one of our authorized partners.
This warranty is valid for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, excluding consumable products like brake pads, rotors, and tires, starting from the installation date. Coverage extends to labor for warranty repairs when performed by Unplugged Performance or an authorized installer. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.
To file a warranty claim, simply contact our service team. We’ll guide you through inspection, shipping (if needed), and repair or replacement logistics. transparencia and top-tier support are what you can expect from Unplugged.
Will installing Unplugged Performance parts void my Tesla warranty?
Installing aftermarket parts does not automatically void your Tesla warranty. Under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act (www.sema.org/sema-enews/2011/01/ftc-validates-right-to-install-aftermarket-parts), a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because you installed aftermarket parts. Tesla must prove that the aftermarket part caused the specific failure in question to deny a warranty claim. UP recommends retaining all factory parts to allow reverting to stock if needed.
What are the shipping options and times?
Unplugged Performance processes orders quickly, typically within 1–2 business days after placement. For U.S. customers, orders under $50 usually ship via FedEx SmartPost with an estimated delivery time of 2–7 business days. Larger items like body kits or bumpers may ship via freight carriers with curbside delivery; customers will be contacted to schedule a delivery window. International shipping is available to most countries, with shipping costs calculated at checkout. Delivery times abroad vary, generally ranging from 5 to 16 business days depending on destination. Import duties or taxes are the customer’s responsibility. To ensure a smooth shipping experience, provide accurate contact information during checkout. For specific questions or shipping quotes, Unplugged Performance’s support team is available to assist.
