Tesla Model 3 19-Inch UP-03 Wheel and Winter Tire Package
-
Some Model 3 owners are not willing to give up stance to get through winter, and the UP-03 19-Inch Wheel and Winter Tire Package is built for them. The 19×9 +25 fitment fills the arches properly and keeps the car looking like itself in January, while the 245/40R19 winter tire delivers the cold-weather grip an all-season cannot. The UP-03 is the most race-tested wheel in the Tesla aftermarket, with records at Pikes Peak, Laguna Seca, Buttonwillow, and Tsukuba, and Unplugged Performance has never received a report of a bent one. Choose Vredestein for performance winter driving or Michelin for ice.

Winter Without the Downgrade
The standard advice for winter is to go smaller. Drop a size, accept the look, get through the season. That advice exists because it is genuinely safer than running 20-inch summer rubber on ice, but it treats aesthetics and capability as a trade you have to make.
The UP-03 19-Inch Wheel and Winter Tire Package does not ask you to make it. You get a dedicated winter tire, a proper cold-weather compound, and the safety that comes with both, on a forged wheel in an aggressive 19×9 +25 fitment that keeps the car looking the way you built it. The 245/40R19 still gives you meaningfully more sidewall than a 20-inch setup. You are not sacrificing much, and you are gaining a car that stops on cold pavement.
Fits Every Tesla Model 3, With Near-Factory Diameter
This package fits all Tesla Model 3 years and trims, including cars delivered on 18-, 19-, or 20-inch factory wheels. The 19×9 +25 fitment with a 245/40R19 tire produces an overall diameter within about one percent of factory, so your speedometer, odometer, and efficiency readouts stay accurate through the season.
The 19×9 width is wider than the factory 19-inch wheel, and the +25 offset pushes the wheel further out toward the fender. That combination is what produces the stance, and on a Model 3 it fills the arches in a way the narrower factory fitment does not.
A Wheel With Nothing Left to Prove
The UP-03 has set records at Pikes Peak, Laguna Seca, Buttonwillow Raceway, and Tsukuba Circuit. Across street, track, and off-road use, Unplugged Performance has never received a single report of a bent UP-03.
That record comes from how it is built. The wheel is forged from 6061-T6 aluminum, a process that compresses and aligns the metal’s grain structure rather than pouring it into a mold. The spokes use an I-beam architecture that resists flex under cornering and braking loads, and the barrel is knurled to keep the tire from slipping on the rim under the kind of instant torque a Model 3 delivers. Every size carries a 1,984 lb load rating per wheel.
Winter is where that engineering earns its keep. Track abuse and winter road abuse are the same category of problem: sudden, high-magnitude impacts into a wheel that is already loaded. A wheel that has survived Pikes Peak is a wheel that will survive a February pothole.
Square Fitment and Why Rotation Matters on a Winter Set
The 19×9 +25 setup is square, with identical wheels and tires at all four corners, so tires can rotate front to rear.
On a Model 3 this pays off in a specific way. The car applies torque instantly and uses regenerative braking constantly, which loads the driven axle far more than a combustion car of similar size. Winter tires, with their softer compounds and more heavily siped tread blocks, wear faster under that loading than a summer tire would. Rotation is what keeps that wear even, and even wear is what turns a three-winter set of tires into a four-winter set.
The Case for a Real Winter Compound
An all-season tire is a compromise engineered around summer survival. Its compound has to resist heat, which means it hardens as temperature drops. Somewhere around 45 degrees Fahrenheit it starts losing the flexibility that lets tread blocks conform to and grip the road surface, and it keeps losing it as the thermometer falls.
A winter tire is engineered from the opposite direction. Its compound stays pliable in cold, and its tread is cut with sipes that open under load to bite into snow and channel slush out of the contact patch. The result is a tire that is already gripping better than an all-season on a cold, dry road before a single snowflake falls. On a car that puts down torque as immediately as a Model 3, that margin is the difference between confident and nervous.
Tire Options for the UP-03 19-Inch Wheel and Winter Tire Package
Both tires come in 245/40R19. Every package includes four UP-03 forged wheels, four tires, four TPMS sensors, and mount and balance labor.
Vredestein Wintrac Pro Wheel and Winter Tire Package
Includes:
- 4 UP-03 19×9 +25 forged wheels in Gloss Black, Satin Black, Satin Bronze, or Satin Titanium
- 4 Vredestein Wintrac Pro winter tires in 245/40R19
- 4 TPMS sensors
- Mount and balance labor
Best for: Drivers who chose a 19×9 +25 fitment because they care how the car drives, and who want a winter tire that respects that. The Wintrac Pro is an ultra-high-performance winter tire with a speed rating up to 300 km/h, and it delivers dry grip, wet braking, and steering response that most winter tires cannot match while still handling snow properly. Best suited to winters that are mostly cold and wet with periodic snow.
Michelin X-Ice Snow Wheel and Winter Tire Package
Includes:
- 4 UP-03 19×9 +25 forged wheels in Gloss Black, Satin Black, Satin Bronze, or Satin Titanium
- 4 Michelin X-Ice Snow winter tires in 245/40R19
- 4 TPMS sensors
- Mount and balance labor
Best for: Drivers facing ice, packed snow, and sustained deep cold. The X-Ice Snow is a studless ice and snow specialist built on a full silica compound that stays flexible in severe cold, with a rigid polymer inclusion in the tread for additional grip. Michelin reports ice braking distances up to 2.7 meters shorter than a leading competitor. If black ice is a normal part of your commute, this is the right call.
What You Get Back Over Time
Running a dedicated winter set on its own wheels removes the annual mount and balance cycle, keeps your summer wheels out of five months of road salt, and lets both sets of tires operate only in the temperature range they were designed for. All three of those extend equipment life and reduce cost.
Layer on a forged wheel with a record of never bending, square fitment that lets you rotate, and a fitment that keeps your Model 3 looking right through the season, and the package stops reading as a winter concession and starts reading as the correct way to own the car year round.

Coverage extends to labor for warranty repairs when performed by Unplugged Performance or an authorized installer. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.
To file a warranty claim, simply contact our service team. We’ll guide you through inspection, shipping (if needed), and repair or replacement logistics. transparencia and top-tier support are what you can expect from Unplugged.
Will installing Unplugged Performance parts void my Tesla warranty?
Installing aftermarket parts does not automatically void your Tesla warranty. Under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act (www.sema.org/sema-enews/2011/01/ftc-validates-right-to-install-aftermarket-parts), a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because you installed aftermarket parts. Tesla must prove that the aftermarket part caused the specific failure in question to deny a warranty claim. UP recommends retaining all factory parts to allow reverting to stock if needed.Â
What are the shipping options and times?
Unplugged Performance processes orders quickly, typically within 1–2 business days after placement. For U.S. customers, orders under $50 usually ship via FedEx SmartPost with an estimated delivery time of 2–7 business days. Larger items like body kits or bumpers may ship via freight carriers with curbside delivery; customers will be contacted to schedule a delivery window. International shipping is available to most countries, with shipping costs calculated at checkout. Delivery times abroad vary, generally ranging from 5 to 16 business days depending on destination. Import duties or taxes are the customer’s responsibility. To ensure a smooth shipping experience, provide accurate contact information during checkout.
