The top tier for Model 3 braking. Stage 4 pairs our Superlight Carbon Ceramic Front BBK with matching Carbon Ceramic Rear BBK and stainless braided lines. Only offered with red calipers. Over 15 inch carbon ceramic rotors up front and 15 inch carbon ceramic rotors in the rear cut unsprung mass, raise thermal capacity, and deliver repeatable stopping on long sessions. The result is later markers, shorter distances, and a firm, precise pedal that holds up when you push hardest.

Product Details
If your build needs the same level of braking confidence we use on record chasers like our Model S Plaid race car Dark Helmet, Stage 4 is the move. This complete carbon ceramic system equips your Model 3 with supercar grade hardware at both axles, designed for drivers who hammer laps, chase data, and still want quiet, street friendly manners between events.
Up front, the Superlight Carbon Ceramic Big Brake Kit brings red 6 piston monoblock calipers clamping 15.5 inch Italian carbon ceramic rotors. Compared to iron, these rotors reduce unsprung mass, which lets the suspension follow the road more accurately and improves response to steering inputs. Rotational inertia drops, so the car turns in cleaner and settles faster through linked corners. Heat handling is exceptional, which keeps pedal travel stable during long downhill runs and extended sessions where iron systems start to fade.
Stage 4 adds the matching Carbon Ceramic Rear Big Brake Kit to complete the balance. You move from the small 13 inch stock rear rotor to a giant 15 inch carbon ceramic rotor with a floating disc. Effective radius increases, which multiplies braking torque and improves stability under heavy decel. The rear assembly is about 9.5 percent lighter than stock, saving roughly 2.7 pounds per corner with hardware, which sharpens the chassis and helps the tire do more work. The rear kit preserves OEM parking brake and stability control functions, so street usability stays intact.
Carbon ceramic friction shines in the environments that punish iron. High thermal capacity and low conductivity help resist fade and keep braking torque consistent lap after lap. Pad wear is reduced under high heat use, and day to day drivability remains civil with the compounds selected for this system. From the first stop, bite is confident and modulation is linear, making trail braking a precise tool rather than a guess.
Stainless steel braided lines for all four corners finish the package by resisting expansion that softens pedal feel in rubber hoses. The pressure you command reaches the calipers more directly, which gives a firmer, more communicative pedal and finer control right at the threshold.
Visually, Stage 4 looks as serious as it performs. Red calipers and massive carbon ceramic rotors fill the wheel wells with intent. Pair the system with UP forged wheels for a stance that says exactly what the car can do. Whether you are building for outright pace or you simply want the most capable, most impressive setup available, this is the system of systems.
Who it is for
Drivers who run long sessions, chase PBs, manage heat with regen trimmed back, and want zero drama when braking deep. Also perfect if you want the most elite, head turning brake package for your Model 3.
Compatibility
Fits all Tesla Model 3 variants from 2017 to present, including the 2024 refresh, RWD, Long Range, and Performance.
What is included
- Superlight Carbon Ceramic Front BBK with red 6 piston monoblock calipers
- Two 15.5 inch carbon ceramic front rotors with aluminum hats
- Carbon Ceramic Rear Big Brake Kit with red calipers and 15 inch floating rotors
- Pad sets matched to the system, front and rear

Wheel fitment note
Rear carbon ceramic rotors require 20 inch or larger wheels. The front kit clears UP 18 inch forged race wheels and most 19 inch wheels, but the complete Stage 4 system must follow the rear requirement. Contact us to confirm specific wheel models.
Installation and fluid
Professional installation and a brake bleed with high temperature performance fluid are required. We recommend Motul RBF 660 or Endless RF 650. Track driven cars should service fluid more frequently because moisture absorption reduces temperature limits over time. If you have questions on setup, pad selection, or racing use, our team is ready to help.
Finish
Red calipers only.

Will upgrading my brakes void the Tesla warranty?
Tesla’s warranty covers factory-installed parts, but it does not automatically void your warranty if you install aftermarket components like Unplugged Performance brake kits. Under U.S. law (Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act), Tesla must prove that an aftermarket part caused a failure in order to deny warranty coverage. Our parts are engineered to work harmoniously with Tesla OEM Brake systems and can be professionally installed by Unplugged Performance in Hawthorne, CA or by an authorized installer to minimize risk. That said, any damage directly caused by misuse or improper installation may not be covered. We recommend retaining all factory parts so you can revert to stock if needed. Many Tesla owners enjoy peace of mind by using Unplugged Performance products, which are extensively tested and installed by certified professionals. If warranty concerns are top-of-mind, our team can help clarify compatibility and installation best practices to ensure a worry-free experience.
What does the Unplugged Performance product warranty cover?
Unplugged Performance offers a comprehensive warranty on all parts and installations performed by our certified technicians. Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship on items including lowering springs, coilovers, big brake kits, brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, shocks, and more. Should any covered part fail under normal use or display premature wear, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost—assuming the component was installed by us or at one of our authorized partners.
This warranty is valid for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, excluding consumable products like brake pads, rotors, and tires, starting from the installation date. Coverage extends to labor for warranty repairs when performed by Unplugged Performance or an authorized installer. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.
To file a warranty claim, simply contact our service team. We’ll guide you through inspection, shipping (if needed), and repair or replacement logistics. transparencia and top-tier support are what you can expect from Unplugged.
Will Tesla void my warranty if I install aftermarket parts?
A vehicle’s comprehensive warranty as a whole may not be voided due to use of aftermarket parts per the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act (www.sema.org/sema-enews/2011/01/ftc-validates-right-to-install-aftermarket-parts). However, a manufacturer may require a customer to pay for parts and labor for a repair if there is direct causation between a customer’s alteration and the product or service repair being requested. It is in both manufacturer and customer’s interest to follow logic and reason so that the system of good faith is not abused. If this topic interests you please read the law as well as your warranty documentation. Ultimately we are Tesla owners and enthusiasts, we are not lawyers and cannot provide legal advice.
