Evolving Tesla’s Classic Turbine Wheel Design

One of the most noticeable design features of the UP-02 is its twisted 5-split spoke design. With efficiency in mind, we intentionally minimized the amount of spokes and gave them their signature twisted profile so they can serve a multifunctional purpose. In comparison with the factory Turbine wheels, fewer spokes results in cooler air sent to your Tesla’s brakes for optimal performance.  Having less spokes, of course, also gives this Tesla SUV a sportier aesthetic.
