Manufacutred in druable black plastic, the High Efficiency Front Splitter is impact resistant.  It installs easily in the OEM location but improves stability and efficeny by better controlling the flow of air under and over the Model Y Performance. The splitter is built to handle daily driving, long highway miles, and spirited weekend runs.  Each splitter features a gloss black surface that aligns with the finish of the original trim, so the upgrade looks integrated from day one.

Unplugged Performance’s ethos is that function should drive form and our parts should be functinoal.  We wanted to reduce front lift on the Model Y Performance, not just simply make it look more purposeful without providing real-world benefits.   We validated the geometry through CFD development to ensure measurable improvement in downforce, stability, and efficency, not just a styling change. The extended shape and carefully designed underside work together to better suck the front of the car down for more grip while smoothing the airflow underneath. This reduces lift at the front axle and helps settle the car through fast sweepers, on track, and during sudden lane changes. Drivers will notice a more confident nose, better mid-corner consistency, and a planted feel at highway speeds, and a slightly more agressvie front fascia.

Installation is clean and completely reversible. The splitter mounts using ten factory-style snap-fit points, so there is no cutting, drilling, or permanent modification required. Remove the OE lower trim, position the splitter, and snap it into place for a secure, rattle-free fit. If you ever choose to revert to stock, the process takes only minutes and leaves the vehicle unchanged.
