Product Details
The Model Y UP-05 19 inch Wheel & Tire Packages were created for owners who want real performance and daily comfort without sacrificing efficiency. By combining our forged UP-05 wheels with carefully chosen 255/45R19 and 285/40R19 tire options, we built a complete menu that covers everything from quiet commuting to mountain snow runs and performance driving weekends.
At the heart of every package is the UP-05 forged wheel in a Model Y specific offset. Available in 19×9 ET33, 19×9.5 ET35, and 19×10.5 ET40 widths, the UP-05 design brings motorsport inspired strength with a lightweight, aerospace grade forged construction. The spoke and barrel profile is engineered for brake clearance, impact resistance, and low weight so you get sharper steering response and a more connected feel without adding rotational mass. Finishes include Satin Titanium, Satin Bronze, Satin Black, and Gloss Black so you can match a subtle OEM plus look or go full contrast.
Why 19 inch for Model Y
Moving to a 19 inch package gives you more sidewall than 20 and 21 inch setups. That extra sidewall adds comfort, rim protection, and mechanical grip, especially on broken pavement, dirt roads, and cold weather. It also helps preserve range compared with heavier, larger diameter wheel and tire combinations. Our 19 inch UP-05 fitments are designed to clear factory brakes, tuck neatly under Model Y fenders, and maintain appropriate load ratings for the weight and torque of the car.
Fitment structure
You can choose from three main configurations:
- 19×9 ET33 square on 255/45R19 for a balanced, easy to rotate street setup.
- 19×9.5 ET35 square on 255/45R19 for a slightly wider footprint with a more aggressive stance.
- 19×10.5 ET40 square on 285/40R19 for the boldest track inspired look, with serious rear grip in squared form.
- 19×9.5 ET35 front and 19×10.5 ET40 rear staggered on 255/45R19 and 285/40R19 for drivers who want a rear driven aesthetic and traction bias.
Every package includes 4 TPMS sensors plus professional mount and balance so the set arrives ready to bolt on.
Tire families and use cases
EV focused all season
For year round street use with an emphasis on low noise and efficiency, look to our Hankook iON evo AS and Yokohama ADVAN Sport EV A/S based packages. These EV ready tires are designed around the loads and torque of electric vehicles and pair perfectly with the lighter UP-05 wheel, keeping range and refinement front and center while still improving steering precision and grip versus stock.
Performance all season
Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 options give you a more enthusiastic feel with strong wet and dry grip plus cold weather flexibility. Paired with 255/45R19 and 285/40R19 footprints on the 9, 9.5, and 10.5 inch UP-05 widths, these sets are ideal for drivers who carve canyons or hit freeway on ramps hard but still need one tire that can deal with rain and shoulder season temps.
Ultra high performance summer
If you primarily drive in warmer climates and want sharper steering and ultimate dry grip, our Michelin Pilot Super Sport combinations are the choice. On the 19×9 or 19×9.5 square setups you get neutral balance and easy tire rotation; on the 19×9.5 and 19×10.5 staggered layouts you add serious rear traction and a wide, planted stance.
EV performance summer
For drivers who want a summer performance tire tuned for EV loads and rolling resistance, the Michelin Pilot Sport EV packages combine very high grip with efficiency minded construction. These pair especially well with the lighter forged UP-05, helping you enjoy spirited driving without a major penalty in range.
Dedicated winter and snow
Cold climate drivers can choose between Michelin X-ICE Snow, Pirelli Winter Sottozero, and Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4. The 255/45R19 and 285/40R19 winter options give you real snow and ice traction, with the UP-05’s 19 inch diameter leaving enough sidewall to cut through slush and absorb winter potholes. These make an ideal second set to keep your 20 or 21 inch factory wheels out of the salt and road grime.
Turnkey experience
Every Model Y UP-05 19 inch Wheel & Tire Package is built to be plug and play. You select your wheel width, finish, and tire family; we handle TMPS installation, mounting, balancing, and fitment details. When the set arrives you simply swap wheels, perform a quick torque check, and drive.
Whether your priorities are comfort and efficiency, all weather security, or a more athletic, responsive feel, there is a UP-05 19 inch package that fits your version of the Model Y.

What’s the best wheel size on a Model Y for ride comfort and range?
Nineteen inches hits the balance most owners are after. Moving to a 19 gives you more sidewall than a 20 or 21, which adds comfort, rim protection, and mechanical grip on broken pavement, dirt roads, and in the cold. It also helps preserve range versus heavier, larger-diameter combos. This UP-05 package is built around that logic, with forged wheels that clear the factory brakes and tuck cleanly under the fenders.
What fitments and tire sizes does the 19-inch UP-05 package offer?
Three widths in Model Y-specific offsets: 19×9 ET33 and 19×9.5 ET35 squares on 255/45R19, plus a 19×10.5 ET40 on 285/40R19 for the boldest look. You can also run 19×9.5 front with 19×10.5 rear staggered, pairing 255/45R19 and 285/40R19. Every configuration includes four TPMS sensors and professional mount and balance, so the set arrives ready to bolt on.
Is the UP-05 a forged wheel?
Yes, the UP-05 is a forged wheel with a lightweight, aerospace-grade construction and a motorsport-inspired Y-spoke profile designed by Sasha Selipanov. The spoke and barrel are engineered for brake clearance and impact resistance at low weight, so you get sharper steering response without adding rotational mass. Forging is what lets the wheel stay light while carrying the load a heavy, high-torque Model Y puts through it.
Which tires should I choose for winter use on the UP-05 19?
For real cold-weather driving, spec Michelin X-Ice Snow, Pirelli Winter Sottozero, or Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 in 255/45R19 or 285/40R19. The 19-inch diameter leaves enough sidewall to cut through slush and absorb winter potholes, and a dedicated winter set on its own wheels keeps salt off your summer rims. Many owners run this exactly that way: 19s for winter, larger factory wheels stored until spring.
Can the UP-05 handle canyon and weekend performance driving?
It can. For year-round enthusiasm, the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 brings strong wet and dry grip on the 9, 9.5, and 10.5-inch widths. If you mostly drive warm and want maximum dry bite, the Michelin Pilot Super Sport option sharpens steering further, and the staggered layout adds rear traction. Pair a day of this with a session at our TeslaCorsa track day and the lighter forged wheel earns its keep.
Does the 19-inch UP-05 fit all Model Y trims and years?
Yes. The fitments are chosen to clear factory brakes, sit correctly in the fenders, and carry appropriate load ratings for every Model Y, whether Rear-Wheel Drive, Long Range, or Performance, across all model years. You select width, finish, and tire family, and we handle TPMS, mounting, balancing, and the fitment details so the set is plug and play when it lands.
Which finish options are on the 19-inch UP-05, and do they cost extra?
There are four to pick from: Satin Titanium, Satin Bronze, Satin Black, and Gloss Black, spanning a quiet OEM-plus look through to a full-contrast statement. Each wears Sasha Selipanov’s Y-spoke design regardless of color. You spec the finish free at checkout alongside your width and tire, so dialing in the look costs nothing beyond the package itself.
Do I need an alignment after installing these wheels?
A fresh set of wheels and tires on a stock-height car doesn’t strictly require an alignment, but it’s the right time to check it, especially if the car has any miles on it. If your Model Y is lowered, an alignment is a must to protect the new tires. We can mount, balance, and align in-house, and the package already comes balanced so the install itself is quick.
UP-05 or UP-03 in 19 inch, how do I choose?
They’re close: both forged, both in the same Model Y fitments and 255/45R19 and 285/40R19 sizes. The UP-05 is a Y-spoke design; the 19-inch UP-03 package is a monoblock with a different, cleaner spoke pattern. Strength and weight are in the same league. This is a styling decision more than a performance one, so pick the spoke design you like better.
Can I keep my UP-05 wheels for off-road or snow adventures?
The 19-inch format with its taller sidewall is genuinely useful off pavement and in winter, which is part of why the size is popular on adventure-minded Model Ys. Run winter or all-season rubber and the wheel takes rough roads in stride. If you’re planning serious dirt and want a lift to go with it, our Trailhead Pro suspension package is where that build starts.
What does the Unplugged Performance product warranty cover?
Unplugged Performance offers a comprehensive warranty on all parts and installations performed by our certified technicians. Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship on items including lowering springs, coilovers, big brake kits, brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, shocks, and more. Should any covered part fail under normal use or display premature wear, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost—assuming the component was installed by us or at one of our authorized partners.
This warranty is valid for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, excluding consumable products like brake pads, rotors, and tires, starting from the installation date. Coverage extends to labor for warranty repairs when performed by Unplugged Performance or an authorized installer. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.
To file a warranty claim, simply contact our service team. We’ll guide you through inspection, shipping (if needed), and repair or replacement logistics. transparencia and top-tier support are what you can expect from Unplugged.
Will installing Unplugged Performance parts void my Tesla warranty?
Installing aftermarket parts does not automatically void your Tesla warranty. Under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act (www.sema.org/sema-enews/2011/01/ftc-validates-right-to-install-aftermarket-parts), a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because you installed aftermarket parts. Tesla must prove that the aftermarket part caused the specific failure in question to deny a warranty claim. UP recommends retaining all factory parts to allow reverting to stock if needed.
What are the shipping options and times?
Unplugged Performance processes orders quickly, typically within 1–2 business days after placement. For U.S. customers, orders under $50 usually ship via FedEx SmartPost with an estimated delivery time of 2–7 business days. Larger items like body kits or bumpers may ship via freight carriers with curbside delivery; customers will be contacted to schedule a delivery window. International shipping is available to most countries, with shipping costs calculated at checkout. Delivery times abroad vary, generally ranging from 5 to 16 business days depending on destination. Import duties or taxes are the customer’s responsibility. To ensure a smooth shipping experience, provide accurate contact information during checkout. For specific questions or shipping quotes, Unplugged Performance’s support team is available to assist.
