We designed our Refresh Front Fascia a way for owners of nose cone Model S vehicle to update their cars to the latest Tesla design aesthetic. The new look follows Tesla’s Model S Facelift, with a nosecone-free aerodynamic design, adding an integrated front lip spoiler. This distinctive front spoiler amplifies the performance identity of the car and distinguishes it as a premium version, consistent with the ethos of all Unplugged products.

Magnetic License Plate Holder Option (for USA plates)

This license plate holder allows your plate to be securely attached to your Refresh Front Fascia for daily use and easily and instantly removed without tools for car washes, car shows, or when traveling in states that do not require front plates. Our plate holder uses an original Tesla part modified with embedded ultra-strong Neodymium magnets so that no one would ever know it’s removable.

The backside is padded with soft non-abrasive material to avoid scratching the paint. If you plan to frequently remove and replace the plate or live in harsh climates, we recommend cleaning the padding surface and underlying paint to avoid any micro-abrasions from any dirt, salt, accumulated.

Note: To install needed magnets to enable use of the plate, the bumper must be removed from the vehicle. If you want a removable front plate solution, we strongly recommend purchasing this item at the same time you purchase your fascia to avoid unnecessary labor, cost, and headache of removing and reinstalling your fascia. This plate holder is only warrantied to work with USA plates, if you live in a country with a similar but not identical plate size we do not know if it can work for you.

What year Model S vehicle does this product fit?

The Refresh Front Fascia is designed to accommodate all Model S vehicles produced from 2012 until May 2016

Is this compatible with current spec AutoPilot hardware?

Yes, the Refresh Fascia was designed and tested to work seamlessly with the AutoPilot hardware and Park Assist System

In the event that the 12V onboard battery is completely discharged and I am unable to open the hood (bonnet), how do I "jump-start" the vehicle?

We’ve thought of that! Knowing that the Refresh Fascia eliminates the ability to remove the nose cone, thus making jump start terminals inaccessible, we designed an included safety system to enable charging.

Is cooling affected with the Refresh Front Fascia?

No, we took into account the locations of all OEM heat exchangers and ducting, and engineered the bumper shape to allow for proper cooling as the factory intended

My car is a lease, is there any permanent modification done to my car by installing?

The Unplugged Performance Refresh Fascia is designed to use all factory ducts, factory mesh and factory attachment locations. As a result, there is no cutting, drilling or modifying required of any original parts or to the car itself. Attachment is achieved by simply using factory bolts and mounting clips. The car can be reverted back to the unalerted factory original bumper configuration in less than 3 hours of labor with basic tools. Your total cost of enjoying the refresh during the remaining time of your lease will simply be your cost of the fascia, paint and install less your future resale proceeds of the refresh to the next owner who will surely appreciate and compensate you for an already painted item.

Do I need a Tesla certified body shop to install?

You may use Tesla certified facilities, and many of them are dealers of Unplugged Performance already. However we have designed this (and all of our exterior parts) to be able to be installed with basic tools by any professional body shop. There is no specific Tesla tools or knowledge required to install. The only requirement for install is the ability to know how to use basic tools in combination with reading and following instructions thoroughly.

Do you offer pre-painted parts?

We previously offered pre-painted parts. What we have found was too much risk of damage to paint during shipping. We also always suggest that the installer provides painting services locally to ensure best paint match as some cars vary from others in exact color and blending is sometimes needed. For purposes of best end result we do not pre-paint.

How long does it take to install?

The installation does not require any modification to the car and takes approximately 3 hours for a professional body shop to complete

Is the Tesla emblem included?

The Tesla emblem is a trademarked item of Tesla. We do not reproduce it. Our fascia is designed for you to transfer your existing emblem from your car onto our fascia. We’ve developed a mounting surface for easy installation of your existing emblem

Is the license plate bracket included?

While we are not including a mount bracket, the Refresh Fascia is designed to accept the OEM license plate mount designed for the facelifted Model S

I have tracked my m3p twice now at road America and a local track blackhawk farms. The power to pull the car out of corners make it pretty competitive in stock form. The number one complaint was body roll and poor weight transfer into corners. The competition sways eliminated all of those concerns....

What a difference this sway bar made to my Model S Plaid. This helps correct the body roll the car has from the factory. I have much more confidence taking turns at a higher speed, and freeway on-ramps have become extremely fun. I would highly recommend upgrading your sway bar in the Model S!
