The UP-03 Race Spec was designed to provide the maximum possible grip for all Telsa Model 3 and Model Y variants. We run these wheels with 305 wide tires front and rear on factory fender Model 3’s and Model Y’s. These wheels are not recommended for daily driving due to extreme widths and related range loss with tires of appropriate size. All UP-03 Race Spec wheels are optimized and produced specifically for racing, time attack, autocross, and high-performance track days. - Sized at a unique 18×10.9 they are specifically designed for the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y to fit the widest wheel possible.
- Capable of fitting street tires and racing slicks sized up to 305 wide under stock bodywork*
- Tire widths of 275 – 305 fit perfectly on the wheels. When using the same size tire, rotating front/rear is possible as well.
- Forged Monoblock 6061 construction utilizing APP forgings (same forging supplier to Lamborghini, Ferrari and other supercars)
- Extreme rigidity for racing use. Even forged wheels have some degree of deformation under load which reduces performance. Using FEA Analysis these are made extremely strong for massive loads under high gs. This is as strong as a wheel gets.

One of my favorite upgrades to the Model 3, allows for fine-tuning of the entire suspension system to balance the car out. Each notch makes a noticeable difference, so certainly flexibility with the settings. I started with Medium/Medium settings and tuned them according to the car's handling.

I recently purchased the UP-03 Race Spec Wheels for my Tesla Model 3 from Unplugged Performance. Although the wheels look great and undoubtedly enhance the driving experience, I encountered a few issues during the process.
Firstly, I was not informed that I would need spacers for the UP validated tire sizes. This oversight resulted in an extra week of downtime for my vehicle and an additional expense of $460 for spacers in various sizes. Clear communication about this requirement would have allowed me to better prepare and avoid these inconveniences.
Secondly, the silver/titanium color of the wheels I received differed from the gloss brushed aluminum finish shown in the product photos, which I specifically requested. While the color is still aesthetically pleasing, it was not exactly what I had in mind when placing the order.
Moreover, the delivery time for the wheels was quite lengthy, taking 138 days from order to delivery. This extended wait time was somewhat disappointing.
Lastly, the price of the UP-03 Race Spec Wheels was quite high when I made the purchase, at $7,495.00 for a set of 4. Although I understand the premium nature of the product, a more competitive price point could make these wheels more accessible to a broader range of customers. However, at the time of writing this review, the checkout page shows a price of $4,380.00, so this issue may have already been addressed.
Despite these drawbacks, the quality and performance of the UP-03 Race Spec Wheels are undeniable. I appreciate the engineering and craftsmanship that went into creating them. Nonetheless, I hope Unplugged Performance can address the communication and delivery issues to enhance the overall customer experience in the future.
