They fit the 2021 through 2026+ Model S, and at checkout you select your vehicle year and your variant, the Model S Plaid or the standard Model S, so both are covered. They ship with Pikes Peak spec Swift Springs. Swift is a race-proven spring maker, and this rate was chosen through our development at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb rather than picked from a catalog. The bodies use forged billet 7075 and 6016 aluminum with a clear anodized finish, paired with hard nickel-coated steel components where the loads demand it. They are fully rebuildable. A race-grade Öhlins TTX damper is built to be serviced and revalved rather than thrown away, which protects the investment over years of track use and lets you change the valving as your setup evolves. Ride height is adjustable anywhere from stock height down to 60mm lower than stock. Because you set it mechanically on the coilover, you pick the exact stance and corner balance you want and it stays put, which matters on a track where consistent ride height affects handling. Going lower changes geometry, so plan an alignment, and add the adjustable rear camber arms if you want to correct camber at the new height.

Honestly, for a pure street car they can be. This is a Pikes Peak spec race coilover built to set records, so the payoff is on track and at speed. If your goal is a lower, sharper street car that keeps the air ride, the Sports Dynamic lowering kit is a far simpler path. Choose these when repeatable race adjustability is the actual goal. For stance alone, they are more coilover than you need.

Öhlins and Unplugged Performance built them together to set records, and they were developed, tested, and proven at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on our Model S Plaid race car, Dark Helmet. Swapping to aftermarket coilovers does not automatically void your Tesla warranty. Under Magnuson-Moss, Tesla must show that the coilover caused a specific failure to deny that claim, so the mere presence of the part is not enough. The 2-way lets you tune rebound and compression damping independently, front and rear. The 4-way adds a second layer: separate low-speed and high-speed settings for both rebound and compression, so you can control body motion and sharp impacts as distinct adjustments. Racers chasing the last tenth on a specific track usually want the 4-way. The 2-way already covers a very wide range for street and most track use.

Yes. This is a complete replacement for the 2021+ Model S air suspension, not an add-on to it. You give up the self-leveling air ride and gain a fully adjustable race coilover with ride height set from stock down to 60mm lower than stock. It is a deliberate trade: air comfort and auto height for the control and repeatability a coilover gives on track. We can consult on settings for street or racing use.

Tesla’s warranty covers factory-installed parts, but it does not automatically void your warranty if you install aftermarket components like Unplugged Performance brake kits. Under U.S. law (Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act), Tesla must prove that an aftermarket part caused a failure in order to deny warranty coverage. This warranty is valid for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, excluding consumable products like brake pads, rotors, and tires, starting from the installation date. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.
