Just a few months after becoming an authorized shop for Tesla vehicle service and body repair, we have some more great news for our customers and the Tesla community. Starting this week, our Hawthorne, California Technical Center becomes operational, bringing another level of support and services to our customers. It’s the next step in our mission to deliver the most compelling and exciting Tesla vehicles to our customers around the world. The Unplugged Performance Technical Center in Hawthorne California is co-located in the same campus as the main Unplugged Performance facility, as well as neighboring Tesla Design Center and SpaceX. The new facility is designed to be the world’s premier hub for Tesla performance. The Unplugged Performance Technical Center encompasses all customer services including complete vehicle construction, race car fabrication, tuning and installations, as well as research and development. The facility boasts integrated EV charging, a standard Tesla Service-spec Hunter laser alignment machine, and a special ultra-bright lighting system to enable detail-obsessive technicians to carry out their work.

The facility will support daily operations in regards to Tesla vehicle service and repair, but also, it will serve as a center for excellence where customers can install their Unplugged Performance aftermarket products. Additionally, the Technical Center will allow us to work closely with our customers in creating bespoke Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y builds, in turn creating some of the fastest, most unique Tesla’s, catering to specific and personal customization demands by our clients. Furthermore, our engineering & design teams will have a truly state-of-the-art facility where they will be able to develop top-notch, technically advanced aftermarket parts for Tesla vehicles.
