Q: What is a forged monoblock wheel?

A monoblock is machined from a single forged piece of aluminum rather than bolted together from multiple parts. Forging aligns and compresses the grain, and starting from one block lets us remove unnecessary material while keeping strength exactly where the wheel needs it. On the UP-03, that means reduced rotating mass versus many cast or flow-formed wheels, which translates to sharper turn-in and quicker response under hard acceleration and regen braking.
