Q: What problem does the Enduro cooler and magnetic filter solve on a Model 3 or Model Y?
It attacks heat and metal debris at the same time. Swapping the factory drive unit oil filter for this billet unit, the radial finned design and an enclosure with about 10% more capacity help the drive unit run cooler, while dual magnetic media pulls metal shavings from the oil. The internal filter is an uprated 5 micron element using K&N filtration technology, so the oil stays cleaner than stock.
