Q: How is this installed and can your shop do it?
It installs in place of the factory oil filter on the drive unit, so it is a mechanical job best suited to someone comfortable working around the drive unit or a shop. If you are local to Los Angeles, our Hawthorne team can install it and handle the oil service at the same time. The built-in drain plug also makes future sampling and maintenance straightforward.
