Q: Can I install the replacement ball joint myself?

If you are comfortable working on the FUCA, the joint swap is a manageable job at home with basic tools, and the flip-pill design is meant for quick changes. Set your camber afterward, since disturbing the joint changes alignment. Owners in the Los Angeles area can have our Hawthorne shop handle it and confirm the setting on the rack. Keep the retainer hardware clean and torqued to spec.
