Q: Can I install this myself, or should the shop do it?
Because it mounts to the tow hitch with a quick-release, fitting the mount itself is straightforward once the hitch is in place. Installing the tow hitch is the bigger job. Local Los Angeles owners can have our Hawthorne team handle the hitch and mount together. Deploying a parachute safely at speed is its own skill, so if you want seat time to build it, our TeslaCorsa track day experience is a good place to start.
