Yes, upgrading to Unplugged Performance big brake kits does not interfere with Tesla’s regenerative braking system. Regenerative braking is controlled electronically by the vehicle’s drivetrain and operates independently of the friction brakes under normal conditions. Our brake systems enhance the vehicle’s friction braking capability when regeneration is insufficient—such as during hard braking, high speeds, or when the battery is fully charged. In those situations, upgraded brakes step in to provide stronger, more consistent deceleration. Many drivers report a smoother transition between regenerative and mechanical braking after installation due to improved pedal modulation. All safety systems, including ABS and stability control, remain fully functional. If you rely heavily on regen braking for efficiency or single-pedal driving, rest assured that brake upgrades will not disrupt that experience—they simply expand the vehicle’s braking performance envelope for more demanding scenarios.

I have tracked my m3p twice now at road America and a local track blackhawk farms. The power to pull the car out of corners make it pretty competitive in stock form. The number one complaint was body roll and poor weight transfer into corners. The competition sways eliminated all of those concerns....
