Q: Does the square 19-inch fitment really improve tire life?

It helps. With 19×10.5 and 285/40R19 at all four corners, every tire is the same size, so you can rotate front to rear and even out wear. Staggered setups look more aggressive but lock the rears in place, so they wear faster and cost more to replace over time. If long tire life matters, the square 285/40R19 layout is the practical pick.
